| Looking down the Medlock Valley |
It would be nice to have an extended happy medium somewhere between Coo, What A Scorcher! and Britain Shivers! The prolonged dry spell and a succession of heatwaves had their impact on the landscapes. It also had an impact on which landscapes I explored: heat and wildfires knocked a lot of hillwalking on the head.
Whatever the weather, and the changing climate, the scenery is worth the effort of the visit, most of the time. Don't think I've never been tempted to put together a sewage works gallery.
