My word, even the parakeets won't eat the rowan berries. I can't say I'm particularly sorry about that, it's hard enough work keeping the regulars fed. The spadgers found the fat balls yesterday, it gives it another day before I'm going to have to resupply the feeders. Still, it's nice to see a crowd of them again. I've been mentioning signs of Autumn all week, the return of the coal tits to the back garden is yet another.
It's going to be another very wet night followed by another sun'n'showers day. It'll be the first fully free day of the week for me, I've a few ambitious plans that will like as not come to nothing.
