Stretford

Female blackbird

An overnight light dusting of snow brought the spadgers and starlings in to pretty much monopolise the remnants on the feeders. An odd visitor was a single long-tailed tit amongst the spadgers. A long-tailed tit on its own doesn't feel natural somehow. The blackcap came in a couple of times when thing had quietened down for a while and showed quite well but wasn't for being photographed well.

On the way into Stretford to buy what I hope will be two weeks' worth of bird food I walked through Victoria Park. A lot of mobile leaves under one of the trees turned out to be a dozen redwings.
