I had an afternoon wander round my local patch while the weather was behaving itself. As I left the house I glanced up and saw a buzzard flying Southwards, escorted by a carrion crow. There wasn't much about either on the park or on the old cornfield: not many titmice or robins, a couple more blackbirds, and no woodpigeons. I fed the magpies, had a wander round to enjoy the Winter sky and went home to do a bit in the garden.
